How the Countdown is Calculated
The countdown calculator computes the difference between the current time and the target date in milliseconds, then breaks it down into human-readable units:
- Total Days: The absolute difference divided by the number of milliseconds in a day.
- Years: Estimated using an average year length of 365.25 days to account for leap years.
- Months: Estimated using an average month length of 30.44 days.
- Hours, Minutes, Seconds: Derived from the remaining milliseconds within the current day.
